The MedicAlert family of products
Each MedicAlert product carries the instantly recognisable international emblem
of the MedicAlert Foundation, with the reverse side engraved with basic vital
medical information, such as allergies and chronic conditions. Also engraved on
the reverse side is the 24-hour telephone hotline number which emergency
personnel can call to obtain more detailed medical information by quoting the
wearer's unique confidential membership number. Even in the case where it is not
necessary for any vital medical information to be printed, these products can
be a means of identifying an accident victim and obtaining the contact details
of the victim's next of kin.
The Small MedicAlert Bracelet

A lightwieght and elegant bracelet containing the MedicAlert emblem and any
vital medical information which is essential in the case of emergency medical
treatment. Available in stainless steel, sterling silver and 9ct gold.

The Large MedicAlert Bracelet
|
|
The large size MedicAlert bracelet allows for slightly more detailed vital
medical information to be printed on the reverse side and is available in a
choice of stainless steel, sterling silver and 9ct gold.

Velcro bracelets and the Ambrace
Those leading an active sporting lifestyle may find loose fitting bracelets to
be irritating or even hazordous. MedicAlert offers an adjustable and comfortable
alternative to the bracelet in the form of a velcro strap to which the emblem is
securely attached. In the image below items B, H, D, E and F are examples of
some of the designs available. Item G is the ambrace,
which has been specifically designed for children.

The Ambrace
The ambrace was designed to appeal to children and is available in a variety of
colours. It is a strong plastic bracelet into which the emblem is securely
inserted. This also prevents children from removing the emblem from the bracelet.

The Necklace

Emblems are also available attached to a stylish necklace in stainless steel,
sterling silver and 9ct gold.

The Dogtag
|
|
Yet another alternative, the dogtag, appeals to many men and teenagers. Styled
after the original military dogtags, they sport the MedicAlert emblem with
basic vital medical information emgraved on the reverse side. Available only in
stainless steel.

The MED-e-KEY
The newest addition to the MedicAlert product range is the MED-e-KEY. Developed
in association with Medi-Clinic Southern Africa, the MED-e-KEY is a flash memory
based USB device which stores personal information and medical history which is
immediately available to emergency medical personnel. The MED-e-KEY can also
store personal medical records which can be downloaded electronically for
printing or sharing with your medical practitioner. For more details please click
